What is the best screen protector that I can buy for my Nikon D5000 dSLR camera?

It depends on how much you are willing to spend, a 'designer' or well known brand can cost you up to £20 but there are others that are very cheap that do the same job. Try eBay or Amazon as you may be able to purchase as much as 6 for a few pounds. Remember to check the dimensions before ordering as they can differ in size
I've just bought a Vikuiti ARMR200 screen protector for my Nikon D5000. It has an anti-reflective coating, is dirt repellent and protects the LCD against scratches. It's made for Nikon which means it's cut to size and fits perfectly. I got it from eBay for £6.30 with delivery and the good thing about it is that it is a bubble free installation.
There's quite a few other screen protectors out there for your digital camera and one thing that you'll probably encounter is the rigid glass screen protector (from GGS). It looks fine but the only problem with it is that you cannot turn the LCD back in for storage which means that you'll have to leave the screen pointed to you at all times. However the glass protector will prevent the screen from any scratching but as for me, I wanted something that was more easy and subtle.
